Wow!!!

The wrap-up of MetalCan 22 is coming to an end, so now it's time to leave you a few lines here and say thank you.

Our day started at about 11.30 am at the rehearsal room. There the bus was loaded and we quickly went to Alzey to set up, sound check etc.. With 3 bands, 5 musicians each and 3 technicians, there was quite a lot going on in the Oberhaus. The atmosphere was good and everyone was up for a great evening. In any case, all of us were curious to see how many of you would make your way to Alzey. When we entered the stage at about 8:15 pm, a good 100 people had gathered. Many wore Polytoxic shirts, for others it was their first concert with us. Be that as it may, throughout the whole set you cheered us on, cheered us on and created an incredible atmosphere. This feedback from the audience is so important for us musicians, we can't say thank you often enough. It was incredibly nice to exchange ideas with you after the concert and to feel how much fun you had that evening. The basic idea of MetalCan is to create a win-win situation. It should be an evening from which everyone gets something. We bands get a stage and the opportunity to perform, the Oberhaus has the chance to make decent bar sales, the guests get a fat concert night and the food bank gets the cans! The fact that this has happened makes us incredibly happy. In the end, about 300 cans and almost 165 euros were donated. We received a lot of praise from the Tafel, which we are happy to pass on to you! Thank you!

We would also like to thank everyone who helped to make the evening such a success:

Thanks to the Oberhaus team, especially Thomas Kubatschek for the perfect location and all the help with the implementation.

Thanks again to Sebastian, Prathip and Daniel on the technical side. You ensured that the 3 concerts ran smoothly.

Thanks to Tommy Rhein, Stefanie Koch and Hans Georg Orthlauf-Blooß. The great response at the press conference has motivated us to step on the gas again with the promotion!

Thanks to Birgit Sabine Sommer for her valuable tips and support with the promotion!

Thanks to our team at the entrance! Ute, Michi and Guido, if anyone knows how to trade 300 cans, it's you!

Thanks to Heiner for collecting donations. You just know how to get in touch with metalheads!

Thanks to Triggered and Misanthropic. You guys put on a great show and it was a lot of fun to share the stage with you. We are looking forward to the next time!

Thanks to everyone who donated something. Be it cans or cash. The donations are the biggest success of the whole event!

Finally, we would like to thank our loyal Polytoxic crowd. We appreciate that you attend our concerts so diligently. After the weekend we are a bit further with Polytoxic, but we promise you: we are still a long way from our goal! We hope that you will continue to enjoy this journey with us. In any case, we are looking forward to what is still to come:

Already on 04.03. you can rock the "M8 Liveclub" in Mainz with us and on 08.07. we will open the "Rock auf der Burg" in Neu-Bamberg. We are already looking forward to seeing you again!

So show us the sign of the horns and then all together:

We are Polytoxic!
